Fluffy Homemade Pancakes

Start your morning with these light, fluffy, and golden pancakes! They’re super easy to make, require basic ingredients, and taste way better than store-bought mixes. Perfect for a cozy breakfast with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Prepare Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine: Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until combined. Don’t overmix—some lumps are fine!
  4. Preheat Pan: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.
  5. Cook Pancakes: Pour ¼ cup of batter per pancake onto the skillet. Cook for about 2 minutes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve: Stack your pancakes and serve warm with maple syrup, fresh fruits, or your favorite toppings.
